Albert County Museum

"Canada's 11th Prime Minister, R.B. Bennett, came from Albert County, along with a colorful procession of pioneers, artisans, explorers, shipbuilders, farmers, a few charlatans and one convicted axe murderer. They all live at the Albert County Museum."

Albert County Museum is located twenty minutes away in the village of Hopewell Cape. Complete with a jail cell and town hall they have many items on display from the R.B.Bennet family, who was one of the Fathers of Confederation and our 11th Prime Minister.

During July and August, there is an ice cream social every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:00PM. There is also turn of the century rope making and you get to keep the rope! Both events have a small fee.
